This is Darcy.  Darcy is the daughter of Maggie and Mikey.  She has been DM tested already and has had hips and elbows evaluated by OFA.  She is DM clear for SOD-1 B and has normal elbows and good hip evaluations.  Her babies have been very large healthy puppies.  They average 20# at 8 weeks.

 And this is my Maggie.  She is my very first female.   She is 7 now and has had a few litters for me.  Her and Mikey are the foundation of Beth's Bernies.  Maggie is super sweet and a great mother.  I promised Maggie I would retire her after one more litter and that promise I did keep.  She has had her last litter on March 1st, 2021.  She had 7 healthy happy puppies and took great care of all of them.  Maggie is the Queen of the place.  She has been retired now so she can live out the rest of her life here with us where she can watch over future litters.  She will become Aunt Maggie and I'm sure she will take that job very seriously.  Love you Maggie, you're the best girl ever.

This is Mikey.  He is 130# of teddy bear.  He has the sweetest disposition and only wants to sit on your feet or on your lap.  Mikey is a direct descendant from Switzerland.  He is large and produces awesome babies.  He and Maggie have had the best puppies anyone could have ever wanted.  Darcy is one of his daughters and she has had large puppies as well.  Mikey is clear on is DM test and also hips and elbows. He is listed on Berner-Garde too.  Mikey is my big baby and always will be.  I can't wait to see the puppies he produces with Harley and Remi.  They are all marked so beautifully. 
Update:  Very suddenly and totally unexpected, we lost Mikey in July 2021.  I still cannot believe he is gone. He was so well loved by everyone he met; he never knew a stranger.  What a devastating blow his loss was.  With a very heavy heart I say goodbye to my boy.  You will never be forgotten.  You and Maggie started this for me, and I will always be thankful.  I know you will always be there watching over us.  Love you Mike!​

I would like you to meet our newest addition to Beth's Bernies.  He had huge shoes to fill following Mikey but has done an awesome job and produced high quality babies.  He has added a fantastic bloodline to our program.  His name is Gustav Guiseppee Braveheart aka Goose.  His pedigree is full of Champions and International Champions.  His sire and grandsire are from Poland.  I will add a pic of his grandsire's pedigree which shows the Champions in his line.  I will add a pic of his sire's pedigree as well.  This guy is built and marked like a champion.  He has already been DM tested and is clear.  As you can see from the pedigree, all of his line is on Berner-Garde.  Most of them have been tested for hips, elbows, DM and vWD.  Whether you are looking for a pet that you know is high quality and health tested or looking to add to your breeding program, this guy is going to produce one of the highest quality puppies you can find.  Keep checking back here for updates on Gustav and new pics as he grows up.
